Zone CCTV recently completed a commercial CCTV upgrade at The Whitehall Restaurant & Bar in Leeds City Centre.
The owners had inherited an older CCTV system when they took over the venue. The camera positions were already suitable, but the equipment was dated and the picture quality was poor. After a recent incident, upgrading the system became a priority.
CCTV Camera Upgrade
Following a site survey, we recommended replacing the old cameras and recorder while keeping the existing cable routes in place where possible. Our CCTV installers upgraded the system with wide-angle Hikvision high definition cameras and a Power over Coax DVR, also known as a POC DVR.
No Re-plastering Required
This allowed us to improve the image quality without needing to fully re-cable the venue, helping to keep the installation more cost-effective and reducing disruption to the restaurant.
Monitor Replacement
We also replaced the old monitor with a new 21 inch HDMI monitor, so the management team could get the full benefit of the upgraded HD cameras.
As the venue serves alcohol, we made sure the system had enough storage to record for over 31 days. The CCTV system was also connected to the management team’s mobile phones, allowing them to view cameras remotely and play back recorded footage if needed.
Zone CCTV installs and upgrades CCTV systems for restaurants, bars, pubs and commercial premises across Leeds and West Yorkshire. In many cases, we can upgrade old CCTV systems without completely re-cabling the building.
If your business CCTV system is outdated or the picture quality is poor, contact Zone CCTV to arrange a site survey.
