The Flooring Superstore in Keighley contacted our team after experiencing ongoing issues with their old burglar alarm system. The existing setup was outdated, unreliable, and no longer fit for purpose, leaving the business vulnerable. They needed a modern, effective solution to protect their large showroom, staff, and stock.

We carried out a full site survey to understand the layout of the store and assess the risks. Working closely with management, we mapped out all entry and exit points to determine the number of sensors required for complete coverage. Our aim was to design a system that was both highly secure and user-friendly for the staff.

Recognising that staff often work late during darker hours, we also installed panic buttons under desks. If a member of staff feels threatened, they can discreetly activate the alarm. This triggers an immediate response: the sirens activate to deter intruders, while the monitoring station is notified to send help without delay.

To ensure continuous operation, the alarm panel was fitted with a backup SIM card. This means the system remains fully operational even during power cuts or internet outages, giving the customer complete peace of mind.

The installation was completed neatly and efficiently, with minimal disruption to the business. The customer was very happy with the result, noting how much safer both staff and premises now feel.
