Langdale Dental in Headingley reached out to Zone CCTV to replace an old and unreliable security setup. The dental practice was running an outdated TVI model that relied on old coax cables, which looked untidy across the premises and failed to provide clear footage. The picture quality was particularly poor at night time, making it difficult to monitor the property effectively after hours. Also, the older recorder model was incredibly clunky to operate, meaning that reviewing and exporting footage during a security incident was a slow and frustrating process for the business owners.

Our experienced CCTV engineers installed a modern 6-camera Hikvision IP CCTV system to provide total coverage and crisp high-definition image quality. We chose discreet turret style cameras for this project, installing them neatly into the corners of the rooms to blend into the clinical environment. All of the new data cables were hidden completely out of sight to maintain the clean aesthetic of the practice. The camera layout covers the main reception area, the upstairs waiting area and key external points around the outside of the building.

The newly installed cameras use advanced technology to deliver excellent colour pictures at night time, performing exceptionally well alongside the local Headingley street lighting. To improve daily business security and asset protection, we installed a dedicated monitor directly at the reception desk. This allows the front desk staff to monitor customers entering the building and keep an eye on the waiting area in real time. We also paired the 16 channel Hikvision NVR to the owners’ mobile phones using the Hik-Connect app, allowing them to view live or recorded footage from anywhere. The client was incredibly happy with the clean installation and the ease of use of their new system.
