The customer had recently moved into a house in Seacroft and wanted CCTV fitted. We arranged a thorough site survey so we could look at the property, discuss suitable camera positions and point out any security weaknesses. The customer had found that several other companies were unwilling to visit, but seeing a property in person helps us give practical advice. After the survey, we provided a summary of our recommendations and a detailed quotation.

The new broadband connection was not yet active, but our engineers were still able to install the CCTV system. Footage records to a local hard drive, so the system can record without an internet connection. Once broadband is available, we can connect the system for live viewing on the customer’s mobile phones.

During the survey, we also noticed that the existing door locks needed upgrading. We recommended three-star anti-snap locks because the fitted locks were weak and, when moving into a property, it can be difficult to know who may still have keys. The lock upgrade was advice given alongside the CCTV work.
