Zone CCTV were invited to review the existing CCTV system at Chapel Allerton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club to see how we could improve coverage and image quality. Following a recent burglary, the committee reviewed the footage but unfortunately, the person responsible could not be identified due to the poor picture quality. As a result, the club decided to upgrade their system to ensure that if a similar incident were ever to happen again, they would have clear, usable evidence to take forward.

Our CCTV engineers carried out a full site survey, mapping out all camera locations both internally and externally to ensure maximum coverage of the building and car park. We installed the latest Hikvision IP commercial CCTV cameras, which record at a very high frame rate and deliver excellent colour images even at night. The system was networked throughout using CAT5 full copper gigabit cable and managed via network switches for fast, reliable performance.

A couple of TV monitors were connected to the recorder so staff can easily view live footage from different parts of the club  improving both security and customer safety while members are playing sports or using the facilities.

Despite the club’s busy environment, our engineers completed the installation neatly and efficiently, with minimal disruption to members or staff. The management were amazed by the difference in picture clarity both during the day and at night  especially in the car park, where the cameras now provide a clear view of customers’ vehicles, helping keep everyone safe.
