Pet Friendly Burglar Alarm

Our alarm systems are pet-friendly, thanks to intelligent sensors that detect human movement while ignoring animals like cats and dogs. The sensors monitor heat and movement, using advanced algorithms to determine whether to trigger an alert.

For best performance, pet sensors must be installed at the correct height. They’re designed to ignore animals up to 50cm tall or under 20kg in weight.

PIR Detectors

Our wireless PIR detectors can be installed almost anywhere in the property, with a range of up to 2km line of sight. Signal repeaters can extend coverage to outbuildings like sheds or garden offices if needed.

Sensors are typically installed in room corners for maximum coverage, and include a tamper switch that triggers an alert if the device is forcibly removed. Each PIR covers a wide 12m detection range and sends alerts to your smartphone in under half a second – even reporting room temperature. They work reliably in extreme heat and are smart enough to ignore pets, reducing false alarms.

Burglar Alarm Panic Button

For systems linked to our 24/7 monitoring station, we install one or more panic buttons for immediate emergency response. With a 1,300m range, they can be positioned anywhere in the property.

When pressed, the button sends an alert to the monitoring station, triggering calls to your nominated contacts and notifications to all connected smartphones. There’s no limit to how many panic buttons you can add to your system.

Burglar Alarm Door Contacts

Each alarm system includes a door contact sensor, made up of two parts – a magnet and a wireless transmitter. One attaches to the door, the other to the frame. When the door opens and the two parts separate, the alarm is triggered.

Built-in tamper protection ensures the system activates even if the sensor is forcibly removed. Like all our components, the door contacts feature high-level encryption and anti-jamming protection for secure, reliable performance.

Outdoor Burglar Alarm Siren

Each system includes an outdoor alarm siren, sounding at an extremely loud 113 decibels – a powerful deterrent against intruders. You can add up to 10 sirens per system, making it ideal for larger properties.

Siren units can also be installed indoors, including in garages, sheds, or rooms containing high-value items. When triggered, the siren emits a flashing red light to draw attention from passersby.

Wireless Keypad

You can arm and disarm the alarm system using a key fob, mobile app, or wall-mounted keypad. The keypad can be installed anywhere indoors, and customers set their own unique code – which can be updated anytime via the app.

If an incorrect code is entered, an alert is sent to the monitoring centre and the keypad locks automatically. It runs on 3 AAA batteries and is intended for indoor use only.

Burglar Alarm Key Fob

The system includes two key fobs, with the option to add more. Each fob offers multiple functions, including arming and disarming the system from a distance – ideal for activating the alarm before entering the property.

You can also part-set the system, such as arming door contacts while still moving freely indoors. At night, simply switch to full-set mode to secure the entire property. The fob also includes a built-in panic button: double-tap to trigger the sirens and send instant alerts to connected phones and the monitoring centre (if enabled).

PIR Sensor with In-Built Camera

The visual detection PIR includes a built-in camera that captures five images to create a short video when motion is detected while the alarm is fully armed. This footage is compressed and sent to your phone within 10 seconds.

With built-in infrared, the camera works in complete darkness – helping you quickly verify who triggered the alarm. For privacy, the camera only activates during an alarm event and cannot be accessed remotely. All images are securely encrypted on your device.

Wireless Alarm Systems

The internal battery sensors offer excellent battery life, and the app clearly displays their status. If a replacement is ever needed, Zone CCTV can arrange this as part of a full alarm service. The system is not restricted to us; customers have full admin rights and complete control.

Stay Alert – Wherever You Are

Once your burglar alarm system is installed, staying informed about any activity is essential. By UK law, external alarm sirens can only sound for up to 15 minutes before silencing – which means real-time alerts are critical. Zone CCTV offers multiple options to ensure you’re always notified the moment your alarm is triggered.

Smartphone App Alerts

Our alarm systems can be paired with a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android. If the alarm is activated, your phone will sound a notification and display which zone has been triggered. You can also arm or disarm the system remotely – wherever you are in the world.

Call Centre Monitoring

For greater peace of mind, alerts can be routed to a 24/7 monitoring centre. The operator will contact up to five pre-approved contacts – such as family, neighbours or keyholders – in priority order until someone responds. It’s a reliable option if you’re often away or unable to monitor alerts yourself.

Panic Button Activation
